Automotive Building, Toronto - solo in inglese

The Automotive Building as built in 1929 by architect Douglas Kertland at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario. The architectural style of the building represented a move away from the Ex's more Classical building style, with the introduction of Art Deco elements in its detailing and ornamentation. During World War II the building was used to detain Italian-Canadian enemy aliens prior to their transfer and internment at Petawawa Internment Camp.
