Community kitchen at Japanese Canadian internment camp

Black and white archival photograph showing the interior of the community kitchen at a Japanese Canadian internment camp located in Greenwood, BC. A number of women can be seen working and standing in the kitchen. There are also a number of children who seem to be waiting to eat their meal. In February of 1942 the Canadian government authorized the relocation and internment of Japanese Canadians.
